Sonograma Magazine article on PARMA's work in Cuba

The nice folks at Sonograma Magazine asked me to write about my experiences recording in Cuba, and I decided to focus on our most recent trip there during January 2017. You can check it out at

"As CEO of PARMA Recordings it is my job to produce music.  Our company works regularly in venues throughout the U.S. and Europe and beyond, and much of our collective time as a company has been spent in the studio.  It’s a comforting place. Yet comfort is not in great abundance in Cuba.  Anyone who has been there knows it defies easy description, an illogical place, a place not yet in sync with time, a place which appears to be on the edge of evolution instead of revolution."
